Once in a Blue Moon

Happy New Year!

We are so happy to ring in the new year together. Well the boys were asleep...but...Jeff and I were up to kiss in our third year together :) Most of you know that we met over the New Years holiday and it is always really special to us!

Just before the New Year is my birthday...the big 25, kind of a weird age. Not really a milestone, it's kind of a middle age of sorts that does not really want you to celebrate but rather look back and see all the things that you have or haven't done. Anyway either way Jeff was wonderful and we had chinese food and a hot pink black barbie cakes...hello always wanted that when I was a kid...wonderful husband or what?! :)

I am still enjoying my job and actually have been offered another part time gig teaching sociology for an online school again. I am really excited but definitely need to brush up on my sociological imagination. HOLY COW!!!

I was thinking about going back to school to get my degree in Professional Counseling but I am re-thinking if this is the right time. I hate having choices!!!

Jeff is still doing fantastic in school, he got a bit of a break over the holiday which was wonderful but we are going back into the crunch here really soon :(

The boys are doing wonderful as always. Jacob is addicted to cheese this month and opens the fridge and gets his string cheese out for his morning and afternoon and mid-day and ...snack. He is also getting so tall he can reach just about everything...not even are my counters safe at this point.

Daniel has been such a little cuddle bug this month and we have had such a wonderful time together. He has really enjoyed all of this Christmas gifts these days and takes charge when we go out to the car. He get's to be first in line and stands next to his door until it is opened for him. That kid is so smart...actually so is his brother...we are very lucky parents :)

Well I hope that this year is wonderful for everyone...Happy 2010!!!
